One sphere become 2 then 3 then 4. They change formation from triangle to a straight line then went up and disappeared

Sunny skies perfect visibility. Airplane in mid air passed a white round object. The object became 2 than 3 than 4 objects, same shape and color. They formed a triangle and straight line and moved around each other for a while. The objects disappeared moving straight up very quickly.
