Saw a cross-shaped ball of light moving very, very slowly and steadily straight upwards in the east. I woke up earlier than normal, unable to sleep today. I took my dog outside and thought I'd watch the sun rise as well. As I looked to the east, I saw a ball of light with points coming off of it. I took my phone out and zoomed in tk take photos and videos. I watched its progression up the sky for 40 minutes before coming inside again. It is still out there, moving up.
