2 cross shaped objects turned into aerodynamic objects with incapable maneuverabilities. Dissapearance and sudden appearance

I was on a flight from Rdu to Dal. It was approximately 4:30 pm. I believe it was over Louisiana, but I will need to recall better if I can review a flight map. It was over very barron farm land. History and Acredidation: I have been a Nicu RN for 24 years. I have an educational background of molecular and zoological biology as well as advanced Nursing degrees. I was married to a pilot in the Royal Norwegian Airforce for many years, and lived at Andoya' Airstation, Eglin airforce base, and other airforce bases. My husband was a Captain who piloted P3 planes, and trained students in the U.S. and Norway. I traveled with him on several sized aircrafts. I became quite familiar with planes and their operations. Before this marriage, I was married to a Major in the Marine Corp, and became familiar with their aircraft and ground tactical equipment. I worked on base as a government employee. I grew up in the Washington, D.C. area, and my parents both worked for the C.I.A. I am 50 years old, and of sound mind. This sighting has haunted and perplexed me from day one, and I can't make sense of it even with a couple of years of trying to persuade myself that it was of advanced military nature. I am hoping someone else saw the same occurance, and that this report can add to similar sightings. I am looking for answers as best that you can supply. When filling out the report, when one of my choices were "changing" and "crosses", it made me pause. Are crosses a typical form seen? This is the first shape that I saw for a short few seconds.
The following is what I saw: (Details of time, dates and area will absolutely be off.)
I was sitting in a window aisle of my plane about 2 aisles behind the right wing. We were heading West towards Dallas Love Field. No houses , buildings, roads, airstrip or airfields were noted in the area below in my field of vision. I made a conscious effort to look for anything other than crop fields after viewing these flying objects.. Approximately 8,000 feet below us (?), and about 5000 feet North of us, a quick glimpse of silver crosses appeared in my vision after approximately 2 small glimmers of bright yellow light appeared at the same time. The objects appeared as if in a strobe fashion, but the flashes of light were quick and instant. Not very noticeable flashes . To simply describe; The objects were not there one second, and suddenly they were there. They were horizontal, tubular, pale, whitish silver, crosses that had a glowing light to them after the two tiny bits of flash lighting. The "glowing" was not similar to sunlight falling on a reflective surface. This light was brighter in nature with sharp spheres of light that came off of the cross like object, but the brightness lasted only about 1 second. Within approximately 3 seconds they formed into what appeared to be slender airplane like objects with no glowing light, but they were not similar to any of the many military planes I am familiar with. They had not changed direction or altitude during this transformation of cross shaped to more aerodynamically shaped. They did not gather reflection off of different spheres of sunlight. This was distinctly, not reflection from sunlight. I can describe them as being the size of a 737, but much more slender and cylindrical like a Valkyrie, only shorter. Again, nothing of any military appearance that I had come to be familiar with. What made me continue to focus on them was the fact that these two large items of aircraft were utilizing a very small area of airspace to make their maneuvers. No plane of this size would be operating in their flight manner in such a small area, let alone, two aircrafts this large flying so close together in the fast and erratic pattern that they were. I can describe the size of the area as being about 900 square feet. The crop below looked as if it could be about 20 acres. I own 20 acres myself in Texas, and it was of similar size. The objects stayed in this small area while doing their impressive maneuvers. At first, the flight patterns of each "plane" were crossing each other in quick, short, bursts of power while still maintaining themselves in this same small area of airspace. One would go under the other or diagonally go in front or behind the other. I saw what seemed to be hesitation of forward or diagonal movement for less than 1/4 second intervals. For approximately 10 seconds, it was erratic cross patterns of flight that would reasonably be unobtainable in any aircraft of this size and length, and again, in such a short area of distance to each other. I got the sense that these crafts were possibly featherlight in weight as they had a bit of floating characteristics when not in their burst of energy fast mode. After the erratic, slow, and then fast flight patterns of these plane objects, they broke into a tandem pattern with one object diagonal, and what seemed as slightly lower to the other. They then flew North East in a diagonal pattern for about 400 feet(?). They were there in that tiny area, and then in what I can describe as faster than lightening quick speed, they dissapeared. I say dissapeared because they did not fade off as if flying away. They just dissapeared as I intently focused in on them. No glowing of light accompanied the dissapearance. They disapeared quicker than they appeared, and there was no light at all accompanying the dissapearance. I remember feeling dumbfounded on what I had just witnessed. I kept focusing on the area for what seemed to be another few minutes. I unbuckled my seat belt to turn completely around in my seat to stay focused on the same square 20 acre crop area, clearly thinking they would reappear again, and that I wasn't imagining this dissapearance. There were no clouds in this area, and the glare of the sun was not interfering in my focus on them. I can imagine others would not be focusing in on these far away objects unless they recognized, as I did, that something was very "off" with a regular aircraft's capabilities. It was clear blue sky for the most part, but the distance of viewing was far enough away that it required some good focus, but more importantly, interest of odd behaving aircraft. The subjective feeling I gathered while watching this event was that the objects were in a situation that they were trying to gather control of. It seemed as if the erratic and dangerous moves were the object's ways of trying to get back in control. It didn't seem like a training exercise. It was too erratic, undeniably dangerous, and made little sense to do what they were doing, finally gain control, form a parallel pattern with each other, and then dissapear again. I kept my sight on them from their immediate appearance and immediate dissapearance. At no time did I see an air trail or any other lights omitted from the objects other than when coming into my vision and going from cross like to having formed wings and being slightly wider and longer.. Throughout this time, and after the dissapearance, I remember listening intently to anyone around me making any comments on what had just happened. I heard no comments. I can't imagine that the object's appearance would be visible to the pilots unless they were glancing in the same area as I was. They would have had to have been positioned in a right angle to see behind, diagonally, and below them when they appeared visually in the sky. The distance of the crafts were far enough away to not raise any awareness than another unidentified object was too close to their airspace. The objects were at an altitude similar to that of about 12000 feet .
I never knew there was such a possibly legitimate place where one could report their sightings before today or I would have already made this report with more accurate details to time and place. I can most certainly find my exact date, time, and flight number if my report seems to be of similar odd occurances that others have seen or if there is interest to prove further on this report. I hope you can supply some educational answers as to what I may have witnessed. I'm quite knowledgeable as to what advanced military planes of that size and shape can and can't do in such a short area and proximity to another aircraft, but I would be delighted to have some light shed on my findings. My next questions to you make me feel uneasy for even asking, but after witnessing and comprehending what I saw, I need answers.. Do we have capabilities of appearing and dissapearing, or stalling in midair with quick maneuverability horizontally to immediate vertical forward movement? Do we have aircraft that can work in such close proximity, and in such a small area as to not collide when doing maneuvers that no other aircraft can do? Do we have aircraft that perhaps changes formation as in cross shape to more aerodynamically shaped? I would be grateful to hear from you, and hopefully have some of my questions answered.
