Bue to purple flashing pulsing light lighting up the cloudy sky with loud "electrical" vibrating humming buzzing type sound

*I tried to give this report on another site, but it seems that site is not functioning any longer. So I have just copy and pasted my report here on your site and am tired of typing so keep that in mind as you read:

Many years ago back in 2008 in Fayetteville, Arkansas on top of Mt Sequoyah I witnessed blue to purple flashes of light lighting up the cloudy sky along with a very strange audible noise like electrical equipment buzzing that I have never heard before or since. There are not words that exist to explain the sound properly. This lasted for a pretty long time, maybe 10 to 20 minutes.
It was during a storm with wind that knocked down a dead tree on the rental property I was renting. So I didn't think much of it at the time as I just thought it was power transformers or something. But I have recently been thinking of that night and had it strike me in the gut that this was nothing normal nor power transformers or lines. (I've seen transformers blow and power lines arc before and it was nothing like that).
About a half hour ago I finally googled "UFO Mt. Sequoyah" and I found one link to your site here describing the same thing I saw and heard on Mt Sequoyah. That was in 2013. My sighting of the same or similar thing was in 2008.
I just wanted to write this report for you as I want to back up the other report on your site from back in 2013. I bet that if you could talk to that anonymous person they would say (they described the sound as a humm) that the word humm does not do the real sound justice. It was bizarre for sure. Like something electrical with a humm and buzz with rattles or waves in it, kinda like something vibrating with elecrical buzz. It was loud too. The noise lasted for fairly long amounts of time and the flashing lights lasted a long time as well. The best way I can describe one aspect of the incident looking back on it now is that whatever this was it gives me the impression that it was extremely powerful.
My sighting was on the west face of the mountain on the corner of Skyline Drive and Texas Way looking westardly out the windows from the top of the mountain. Although I can't be sure it wasn't the entire top of the mountain and whatever it was wasn't above me or east of me or where it was. This is just what I saw with limited visibility from the rental house windows located on 200 Skyline Drive and I wasn't really paying attention either.
I wish I had looked at it more closely at the time and my brain didn't right away write it off as a windy storm blowing by the mountain causing trouble with electrical power lines cuz I now think this was something very odd. If not an air craft then maybe the mountain itself was doing something weird. I don't know, but it was interesting finding a report from 5 years after my 2008 sighting that seems to be trying to describe the same thing I saw. This was most bizarre indeed.

Blue flash over mount sequoyah with humMy sister brought the occurance to the attention of my parents. Over Mount Sequoyah, there was a blue flash accompanied by an audible humming sound. It lit the sky up like lightning, but my camera was unable to capture the flash, only the humming sound. The flash eventually rescinded after at least 20 minutes. There was nothing in the local news about this incident.
