I saw something I'm guessing when I was in about the 4th or 5th grade at Crawley School. I was born in 1946.

I saw a stationary cylinder about as long as our house. We were living close to close to Sam Black. My parents had gone to Rainelle and I was alone at the house. I remember the object had different colors on the top and bottom and it looked like their were windows all around the middle of this cigar shaped thing. Our house was close to Route 60. We moved our house when the I-64 was built. Our house was close to where the Sam Black exit is now.
I don't remember telling anyone about this at the time and I don't remember anyone talking about seeing what I saw.
I watched it for awhile and it didn't move.
It happened a long time ago but I'm still wondering what I saw.
