A colorfully lit disk floating up into the night sky I was sitting on my bed when I saw this outside my window. It was large, circular, and pretty close looking, floating at the height of the highest floor of my apartment. I went to the window and saw it kept moving upwards and I craned to see it until it was out of sight. Its movement was slow and controlled, and I couldn’t see the “body” of the thing, it was just pitch black. All I could see was a ring of red, green, and blue lights, like a lit up hula-hoop. It was also dead silent from what I could hear inside.
