object more than 1,000' long x 20'wide, straight row of lights in a pattern of dots and dashes down the spine object more than 1,000' long x 20'wide (maybe more it was immense), straight row of lights in a pattern of dots and dashes down the spine (but not exactly a dot dash pattern just closest I can describe to the pattern), approached then hovered over us. Strange mechanical (?) noise above. Lights slowly went out from one end to the over, shape disappeared with the lights. Noise is still on going as I type. We have a large outdoor patio with a 12' tall stone wood fired oven decorated across the dome of the oven with Christmas lights in a white diamond pattern. It has attracted aerial drones, small personal planes and the like before, but we've never seen anything like this. Just trying to cook pizza for dinner.
