Extremely bright white object, with faint green and red lights also. Was extremely fast and was so bright it was hard to focus on it.

We live on the seafront and I was sitting in the living room and something caught my eye outside of the window floating above the sea.I looked at it and saw a bright flashing white light with green and red lights also flashing - I thought it was a plane at first but then stared at it again it was way too low too be a plane. I ran outside with my mum who saw it as well and the light was so bright it was hard to look at it, by the time we had ran outside it has zoomed off around the corner of our local houses. It is hard to make out a shape of it but the way I would describe it was a blindingly bright white light with less bright green and red lights surrounding it like a big ball, it was bouncing through the sky as if it was weightless and it was extremely fast, that is how I know it wasn’t a plane. I also know there is no way it could have been a drone as it was way too bright , it was hard to even focus my eyes on. However, my mum saw it slightly different ! to me she saw it as a golden yellow bright shining light zooming through the sky rather then a white one - she described it as a “hovering yellow globe”.
