Bright white light due north. 35 degrees above due north horizon a circle of bright white light. The light seemed to hover for 4 seconds than in a sharp arc the light moved up and west for 2 seconds and vanished. About 5 minutes at the same location what appeared to be a large translucent object vanished with a flash of light shaped like a bar (3 seconds total). Clear twilight, moon was 1/2 full and almost due south, Venus was visible about 10 minutes later in the due west.
