On the above time, date and location in the U.K., on the first day of the U.K. coronavirus lockdown, my wife and I recorded a sighting of an unidentifiable flying object. The video recording isn’t a good one as we were both in our garden and I had to rush indoors to get my phone and then fumble about in the dark to set up the recording. However, the recording is good enough to clearly see that the object is not an aeroplane or a helicopter, and if you expand the object you can see the shape is spherical and red in colour, as if on fire. The object was definitely under control, and definitely not debris from space. When it was initially sighted by us it was stopped and hovering above us, glowing red, and then disappeared at great speed.

It’s important to note that the object initially stopped and hovered above us, and then flew very quickly off which is the only part I managed to capture on the recording. It’s also important to note that at the time of the recording the sky was completely still, despite the wind and some clouds. The sky was like looking at a painting of the sky. Lastly, I confirm that my wife and myself are both of sound mind and were not under the influence of any substance such as alcohol. During the sighting no sound came from the object, and there were no other aircraft in the sky as flights had been grounded due to the coronavirus lockdown.
