Orange Orbs over North Myrtle Beach June 25, 2020 My husband and I were on the balcony of an oceanfront condo in North Myrtle Beach on Thursday night, June 25, 2020. Four bright orange orbs appeared in the sky over the ocean. They slowly disappeared. Then we saw two more in another part of the sky. My husband thought that it was military training and they were dropping flares, but they did not streak; they did not lose their shape; they just hovered until they disappeared. I had never seen anything like it. After that we saw a very large and bright orange star about 20 degrees above the horizon. I thought it could be Mars or Arcturus, but after googling their location it could not have been them. This was low in the sky about 9:30 pm and Arcturus is supposed to be high in the sky. We did not see the star again the next night.
