Stopped near reservoir and saw three silver objects flying in formation. We first thought they were drones but they disappeared.

3 silver objects flying in close formation, no sound, no trail. We followed them with our eyes and they came closer together before they suddenly disappeared. Sky was blue with spotted clouds but they were seen in clear blue sky. This was just west of Chickahomminey Reservoir.
