An intense flash of light from blue to white so bright it’s lit up the sky and my back yard for a good 6 seconds. Not lighting

I just filled a report this same night about 15 minutes prior to this report. I’m laying down in bed, window blinds open. And a bright bright blue to white blinding light comes from the south of me and was more bright than any lighting strike I’ve ever seen! There are no reports of rain or lighting tonight. It put me in a bit of a panic. The bright light lasted for about 5-6 seconds and then gone.
