Grey or dark blue cylinder at 30,000 feet I saw this object out of the corner of my eye, which seemed strange, because it was so high in the sky. I pointed it out to my wife, who also saw it. It seemed to be a grey color or a dark blue, not moving, staying in one place, I would estimate 30,000 feet above us. (the estimate is based on jet planes at that height, traveling across country, that one might see on a clear day.) After about a minute to a minute and a half, we lost sight of it, with high haze coming between us and the object.
