A fireball was witnessed by two adult men rising into Western sky above Columbus Ohio. Both men assumed it was a normal aircraft light coming towards us, light first, in the night sky. When we realized it was flying upwards and towards the East, it flew behind a tree. We ran across my yard to get better perspective. When we found the object in the sky again, it had risen and appeared as a if it were riding along the Earth's outer atmosphere. My perspective made it appear like a distorted circle of light with a dark dot in the center, that I assume was an aircraft or missile.
