Not an airplane or helicopter. Very silent, with low pitch sound only.

a prolonged low pitch sound was heard, and seemed to not dissipate.

First 3 items slowly moved through the night sky approx. 1000 AGL or below, then a fourth joined the initial 3.

They all seemed to stay aloft with no engine or rotor type noise. Lasted about 6 minutes, then headed off to the West from my location.
