Bright flash illuminated backyard and living room. Flash was soundless and was close to ground. Light was bluefish yellow.

My father, brother, and I were sitting in our living room when a bright flash illuminated our entire backyard and interior of our living room. The light was bright blue and had the quality of a spark, as if a light bulb had burned out above our house.

This was definitely not a flash of lightning as it was too close to the ground and the form of light didn't resemble lightning at all.

There was no sound when the light occurred.
