Single object with single bright light traveling at a high rate of speed, with no sound at a low altitude. At approx. 20:52, I was standing on my front porch facing the south, at which time an object appeared from a westerly direction traveling eastward at a low altitude and at a very high rate of speed. The object had a very bright single light on the front and appeared to possibly be cigar shaped. There was absolutely no sound, and was visible for 3 to 4 seconds, after which the object disappeared from view. I was not wearing a watch, but approx. 5 minutes after seeing the object, I went in my house and called the Surfside Beach POLICE Dept.and reported the sighting and asked if others had reported the sighting and the dispatcher informed me that a lady reported seeing the object while walking her dog.
