Bright light that slowed down, then accelerated out of sight. I was driving home on route 12, headed west towards Santa Rosa, when a bright light appeared in the sky above me moving right to left (from the north to the south). It had a trail, and was similar in appearance to a shooting star, but far brighter. Then the light slowed down, got much brighter, accelerated, then disappeared. Not sped off so fast that it disappeared, but rather once it sped up, it blinked away.
