Large green glowing spherical light traveling north at high rate of speed. No tail, no sound.

A large green glowing spherical light (about the size of a small moon), was sighted directly above in sky, traveling north at the high rate of speed that a shooting star has, but no "tail".

The object appeared to be in the near atmosphere.

Lost sight of it due to hillside.

Seemed to be more substantial than refracted or reflected light. No sound.
