Shimmering orange fireball seen near Brightwood, Oregon. While checking the mail with my wife we noticed a singular shimmering round orange fire color orb in the sky below the clouds. A very dark night with overcast clouds. The area that it was in was all sky with no mountains or trees or buildings in the background. As we were walking away it faded out to a small dot and disappeared. The object stayed stationary the whole time.
