Orange circular object that traveled at a high rate of speed, slowed to a stop, and then faded away. Object was traveling east to west high in the sky and was of an orange color with no flashing lights or strobes. It was traveling at a relatively high rate of speed, slowed to a stop and disappeared. This is a clear night event, we are familiar with aircraft in the area and this object was completely and absolutely different.
