Trianglular shape of light seen during military training exercise in 1975.

During field training exercises of 9th Infantry Division.

Triangular shaped "body of light" passed over the Yakima Firing Center during night exercises. Its size dwarfed "Huey" helicopters in the distance, approximately 200' altitude. What we saw looked like a light source, as no structure was visible. It moved from the horizon to the edge of the maneuvers in a few minutes? Slowed, then "idled" across the sky for a few minutes then disappeared upwards, as a trail or blip of light.
