I saw what appeared to be a bright round firey object, appear and disappear so fast you would have thought there was another dimension!

I was outside on my boat admiring a night on the water, when I saw what appeared to be a bright round ball of fire, it was just above the trees a few hundred feet away from me and their was no noise. It appeared yellow like the sun, like fire, and in a split second it was gone,
