Round, red and green object hovering over mountains of northern Las Vegas Approximately 8:50 pm. Las Vegas, Nevada, near Sheep Mountain range (between Centennial Hills and Aliante). Round, bright red object that hovered over the mountains for about 1 minute. It then turned bright green and descended straight down before disappearing from sight. About 2 minutes later, it rose straight up and hovered over the mountains again. It was still bright green. It then turned red and green before darting quickly west, completely horizontal. This was observed by me first and then my wife as well.
