3 red circles spotted in Montreal

My boyfriend and I, alongside 2 friends of ours, saw 3 red circles floating in the night sky at around 23:00.

They made their way from the East to West within 10 seconds.

We didn't hear any noise, nor could we clearly distinguish what it was that we had just seen.

Moreover, they were in a straight line, at an approximate equal distance from one another; as though they were following a similar straight alignment/path.
