Several bright, round, silent, large objects going across the sky in formation, then disappearing.

My next door neighbor and myself were outside talking, as we often do. I myself am outside nightly observing the sky. I have seen hundreds of shooting stars, the ISS, drones, satellites, etc.

All of a sudden I looked up, and saw a formation of several large, round, bright lights moving across the sky. They were completely silent. I was yelling to my friend "do you see that"? We both just stood and stared.

Some were in a line, some in a triangular shape, followed by more in a line. Looking up they went along much faster than any aircraft we had ever seen, and then just disappeared one by one.

About a minute after they were gone, three more came across, one by one, followed the same path as the others, and disappeared as well. They remained completely silent.

They were about 1/2 the size of a full moon, but much more brilliant.

I myself have also seen, 3 times in my life, UFO's. This was nothing like any of them. What did we see?
