Big red ball in the sky, moving really slow

I was in the back yard of my house with my friend. I saw something red on the sky and I told to my friend, "Look, Marte is right there." ((sic. Mars??))

She said " is Venus is not Marte". and than we saw the red moving really slow, and we tough that it was a airplane.

But the lights were not flashing like airplane so we keep watching the red ball and after seconds the red ball disappear.
