Dual disk shaped object pulling very slow aerobatics over Welcome, NC.

On the night of April the 18th of 2004, myself and my mother were witness to a greenish/grey disk shaped object, some miles away, and I can only guess, around ~7,000ft off the deck. This object was first observed as I walked from a friends house back to mine. It looked at first like a star, but seemed very bright. We observed the object painfully slowly move across the sky in a Northerly direction. Over the course of 30 minutes this object moved about 1 mile, if I had to make a guess. It then began to rise at an angle of about 30 degrees and then slowly made a dual loop going back in a Southerly direction from whence it was originally spotted. It completely a full two loops over the course of 15 minutes, and then began going up, down, and side to side in the same area, maybe 1 mile in length. I happened to have borrowed a friends digital camera just a few days before, and started zooming to the cameras maximum onto the object. Three photos were taken, and wh! at I found later blew me away. A clear and classic disk with a half bubble shape in the center is seen while the object is (I think) tilted towards me. Two consecutive photos show the object from its side, and reveal an oreo cookie type craft of two disks sandwiching a center black (From that far away and being night time, I could not see the center) area.

This event repeated over two evenings. The first lasting longer than the second. On the second night the object appeared much later. This time around 1:00am. It completed a series of maneuvers, very slowly, just like before, and then just blinked out.

I'm not one to second guess myself, and I'm no stranger to either Unidentified Flying Objects, nor Military aircraft. I know what I saw.
