White beam of light in sky with circular object beneath that disappears into the beam at lightening speed. Went onto our balcony in St. Lucia, Brisbane, to get some air and I looked out over the park to see what looked like a plane in the distance. Then realised there was a circular white beam of light above the circular looking object so said to my boyfriend what's that he didn't know what to say, we both stop and watched. The object then flew directly upwards into the sky like vertically into the white light. All of what we saw then just vanished. We are both freaked out and googling possibilities!
