Bright orb seen moving slowly over lake and the picked up speed and disappeared. I was lying on my couch which has a large window that faces a grassy area and then a small lake. As I was watching TV, I caught a small orb out of the corner of my eye. It was high above the lake and moving downward. At first I thought it was a shooting star, but it was moving too slowly and the orb stayed circular and appeared to have a haze around it. As it got closer to the tree line across the lake, a round red light appeared at the bottom of the orb (but was not flashing). The orb then started moving very quickly before disappearing. The whole incident lasted about 7 seconds. I am certain this was not a shooting star or aircraft.
