BALL OF LIGHT MOVED AROUND IN THE SKY, THEN DISAPPEARED BEHIND MOUNTAINS. In October of 2004 I was hitch hiking to my favorite spot in Sedona AZ to camp. I had camped there the year before with some friends, and liked the seclusion. I got dropped off on the main road and walked all the way in by myself to camp alone. The spot is just south of the city limits of Sedona, off of highway 179 south. There is a side road I cannot remember the name of you take east, and it follows a river. I was 18 at the time, and I guess I was very fearless, because I would be scared to camp there by myself now. I did not believe in aliens at the time, to the degree that I do now. One night, while camping out on the river with not a soul around for miles, the weather looked like it was going to begin to storm. I was sleeping on the ground, under a tarp out in the open. I secured my tarp, and dug a trench around it to collect the rain away from my sleeping bag. Before it started to rain, I saw a very bright circle of light, that looked oddly close, and not outside the atmosphere, but rather inside it. Sure enough, it start to move around, and vanished behind a mountain. I dropped to my knees in overwhelming fear. Then the thunder storm came with loud thunder and heavy rain. I remember laying there in paralyzing fear. Thinking back on it, I hope I wasn't abducted that night. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD))
