5 balls of fire in the sky flying in formation I saw 5 balls of fire traveling due east from downtown. The balls of fire remained in 1 formation for the 3 minute sighting. My initial thought was that they were Chinese lanterns, but they seemed to make the same movements as if they were attached by a string. They faded away into the clouds.
