Orange fire light flying very high and straight in night sky then fades. Was putting up Xmas lights and my gf noticed a light very high up in the atmosphere. Also a jet plain was flying below it going the opposite direction. The ball was flickering at uneven pulses. It was orange so we assumed it was on fire. The ball seemed to be going straight, not descending in altitude. After 30 sec or so it traveled far but slowly and then it started to fade.
