House shaken by a loud "boom" sound.

This is not a report for a traditional sighting. I was just sitting here on my couch watching TV after work and heard a loud "boom" that shook the house. The garage doors were most noticeably affected.

I thought at first maybe a car ran into our house (since it is icy on the roads), however upon further inspection I found nothing inside or out that would explain the noise or shaking.
