Glowing circular object flaming across the sky leaving glowing white smoke and seen by people playing basketball

Me and some guys was playing basketball at the Lakeside outside, when these smoke appeared in mid air. It was right before dark but the cloud was glowing bright. Everybody stopped and looked up at the sky, in which it was about twenty or more outside playing basketball. The head of the glowing smoke was bright white, forming a circle. The object was so bright that it had an outer layer, like the moon when it brightens the night sky. It was partly cloud outside also and you could see the gray clouds. When cloudy sometimes the moon glows through the clouds and show a circle through. I know it's a name for this but I'm trying to explain that the object was so bright it had this same image as the moon shows. The object turned to the left and we could see like a burst of white flame coming from the back of the object, rocket boosters or some sort of engine. This was the part that made us all hold are heads.......the object stop and the flame wasn't there anymore, but 2 small orange circular objects flew from the white object. The objects formed a horizontal line with the white object on top and its like they just cruised the air until they all disappeared. I Guy took a video on his phone and everybody that saw it was looking at each other like what just happened. I mean this thing looked like a white ball of smoking glowing flame cruising the sky. I Have seen the object before but it didn't stay as long as it did this time in Memphis, TN, about a year ago. It appeared and zoomed arcoss the sky in matter of seconds. This one today wanted to be seen and it blew people's minds because we couldn't believe what we saw.
