| Bright object falling into sea NW of La Conchita, CA; visible 3 sec. I was driving north on Highway 101 just south of La Conchita when I saw a bright, V-shaped object towards the northwest plunging toward the sea at great speed. It was visible for 3 seconds, but any impact was blocked by the side of the hill above the highway. |
