Orange lights over the ocean then disappearing and reappearing multiple times

I was sitting on my deck next to the Seaview fishing pier. It was dark and as I looked out over the water I saw an orange light - it appeared to be coming at me and then disappeared. And then I saw it again. This time a second orange light appeared next to it and then they both disappeared. One then reappeared and then 2 more appeared and then all 3 disappeared and didn't return. They appeared to float slowly and then dart a bit before disappearing. The whole thing lasted 3-4 minutes.
