red ball of light with orange glow gliding not far above tree line, then dis appears in sky my wife and i saw a red ball that had a orange glow in the center. it was taking a path that many air planes take to go to the airport. it was as high as planes would be when coming in for landing, but moved no where near as fast as a plane would. it was completely silent as it moved through the sky.we watched it for a good 2 minutes thinking it was a balloon but instead of circling to the southeast to the airport, it went north west and glided very fast into the stars towards the big dipper.
