There were bright orange lights on the object that turned off within 10 minutes

Orange fireball that hovered sunk and reemerged headed from west to east, 90 degree turn, headed north for approximately 1/4 of 1 mile. The Orange glow went completely out as if a switch turned off and the object could only be seen as a dark object in the sky until it disappeared.
