Occurred: 2013-07-13 01:30 Local
Reported: 2013-07-14 01:11 Pacific
Duration: 20 seconds
No of observers: 2

Location: Chilliwack Lake (Canada), BC, Canada

Shape: Light

Bight yellow-orange light that disappeared after one second three seperate times.

We were star gazing at the end of Chilliwack Lake Rd, the sky was just filled with dim whitish blue stars.

I was sitting on the hood of my car while looking South-East and there was a yellow-orange flash that was about the size of quarter in your palm that flashed off in the distance ahead and about halfway up the horizon. It flashed for one second and disappeared.

I was somewhat confused because it was the brightest object in the sky for that second. Then there was another flash of the same color directly to my right.

At this point I jumped off my hood and ran to the center of the road to try and get a better look but it disappeared in about a second as well.

Now I was standing in the middle of the road facing back to my car, facing south, I was looking straight up when a blue meteorite flew overhead and there was a final flash of the same color directly overhead that lasted the same amount of time as the other sightings.

There was no noise and the object was not visible in between the flashes.

Two other people with me each saw at least one of the flashes
