Ball/cylinder with red/orange glow/fire

Approximately 8:40pm on July 5, 2013, a group of us were sitting outside near Blanton Rd & Stagfield Rd, when we spotted a bright red/orange "ball," moving from South to North directly overhead.

There was no discernible noise associated with the object. It did not appear to change elevation.

The object continued northward until no longer visible.
