Green flashing object moving extremely fast towards the East

Saw green/yellow light moving extremely fast heading East.

As it traveled it would make three short flashes of light, and then a second of no light, and the would repeat the three flashes again. It moved as fast as a shooting star! Within seconds it went from almost above us to the horizon.

As it traveled it changed direction. (each set of three flashes showed it moving at a different angle) There was no sound, the sky was mostly cloudy, and the object was very bright when it flashed. (It was moving so fast that the flashes looked like streaks)
