2 objects of different character with different headings spotted at high altitude, first object was visible to a jet crew

Sunday May 12, 2013 at aproximately 23:35 and 23:40 CDT East Central Minnesota: First object was noted slightly to the west of my location, (Roughly "1:30" position if I am standing in the plane of a clock face) It became apparent to me due to the increasing intensity and size of the pure white light that emanated from it, almost as if it were on a heading at my general vicinity, then it dimmed and reduced in size and began moving in a northerly direction, no additional lighting to suggest a conventional aircraft. Slight cirrus/cirro-stratus clouds were in area, object appeared to be above the clouds and the light continued to dim until it was no longer visinle. Speed perhaps in the area of 350 to 400 knots. It disappeared from view about 10 to 15 segrees from where it appeared. No noise. A jet did pass from the east heading west approximately 90 seconds to 2 minutes after object disappeared, moving at about 450 to 500 knots, and was audibly a jet and it's crew must have seen the object as well because the jet had all strobes and marker ! lights lit.

At approximately 23:40CDT, second object appeared, headed roughly south south west, dim, white/blue white, initially spotted almost due overhead as it moved southerly away from the star Arctrus- likely on an eclipsing trajectory in reference to my location, but object initially spotted beside Arctrus moving at approximately 250 knots at best. It disappeared from view within about 15 degrees of initial visual appearance, and it too appeared to be above the broken cirrus/cirro-stratus layer. single light, no sound, Just faded to not visible.
