Black-pea sized mass with long vapor trail passing moon through telescope! Tonight at approximately 17:30 hours, I was viewing the moon through my telescope. Coming into view from right to left, a pea sized black mass appeared directly in front of moon. It had what appeared to be a black vapor trail following it that was about 10 x the size in length. It did not move downward like a falling star but maintained an even course from right to left in center of moon. It disappeared after passing the entire moon. It appeared toe like an falling star but larger in mass and all black and once again not falling downward.
