7 glowing orbs moved slowly in a perfect line but some distance from each other and then disappeared

7 glowing orange orbs moved slowly in a perfect line but some distance from each other and then disappeared. 10 mins later another orb appeared, this time on its own and travelling in a slightly different direction. They were all crossing a field behind my parents house. My parents and I have seen them before but not in such quantity. They move slowly but have the ability to suddenly change direction and move very quickly. On this occasion there appeared to be two red lights with them which I assumed was a conventional aircraft.

I am convinced these were not lanterns as the objects were too large.
