Three lights traveled northwest to southeast across the sky in triangle formation before burning out

We saw three lights that seemed to be moving in formation in a triangular shape, northwest to southeast across the sky. Two lights were parallel to eachother in the front. The third was trailing behind forming a triangle. We watched the lights travel across the sky and slowly get smaller and burn out one by one.
