Bright star-like light moving across sky, then disappearing out into space. Observed a bright, star-like light moving NW to SE below a nearly full moon in a clear sky. Thought it was a star at first, as thin, lacy clouds passed in front of it, then realized it was actually moving. It moved steadily across the sky, then light became smaller and smaller in one place until it disappeared, as if heading directly into space. Not a shooting star, plane or satellite. We both are familiar with what these look like.
