Unexplained low-flying white light moving through night air.

On Halloween night in 1990 my wife and I, who were teachers at the time, were at a lodge on Petit Jean Mountain in Arkansas. Around 1700 hours we saw a white light coming toward us from the valley below as we were sitting on the steps in back of the lodge. Video was taken, but I am not sure that I still have it. The local paper on November 1st ran an article telling of two policemen who saw and chased a UFO that had been reported the night before.
