neon red upside down Y craft

At aprx 8:45 pm I was walking to my car to get some take out and turned to the S.SW sky I’m in Oxnard, ca an hour North away from LAX as I’m looking up I see what I thought was an aircraft but then I notice it looked like an upside down Y and it was like a neon red color coming toward me and so I stopped to look at it and as I’m watching it for maybe 15 to 20 seconds it just fades away and that was it and I stayed maybe a few minutes and was thinking about the size and would say it was a lot bigger then a commercial aircraft from my point of view.
